Where do you place your faith and trust?

There has been a lot of talk (perhaps overkill is a better description) about the economy lately. The Dow Jones has fallen dramatically. There is a real mortgage crisis, caused primarily by people living in homes they never could afford. The unemployment rate is up. The stock markets down. There is talk now that the Cyber Command Center may not be coming to Bossier Parish. The hoopla over the Haynesville Shale has settled a little. So that brings me to my question, where do you place your faith and trust? Are you putting your faith in your portfoilio? Are you trusting your stock broker? Are you counting on a big royalty check for your mineral rights? All of this is a reminder to us to place our faith and trust in the Lord. Everything else is fickle at best. The Dow will go up and the Dow will go down. You may or may not get a chunk of change for a gas lease. But rest assured Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. God will not let you down. Stop placing your trust in things and put your trust in our Creator, Sustainer and Redeember. He is the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

just a thought, but to me, it seems you undermine the entire system if I can make money betting on your loss.....all I need to do is position myself to either know when your stocks head down, or cause them to do so......and I win,....sounds phoney to me....that helpped this last crash....ok well along with Chris Dodd turning his head and ole Barney, and others in the democratic party ignoring what they were seeing in these oversite committees,....
