Highway to Heaven or Hell

Our new sermon series at Airline Baptist is going to be about Hell. You've heard the expression 'preaching hellfire and brimstone'. Usually it isn't mentioned as a compliment. In fact today's culture would rather laugh and be encouraged when they go to church. I believe as much as anyone that laughter has a rightful place. Encouraging sermons can be very timely in the life of church attendees. But there is also a time for sermons that are in our face, hard core truths, and the kind that step on our toes. In fact some sermons need to scare the "hell" out of us, pardon the bluntness. I have been led by The Lord to preach what the Bible says about Hell. The series begins April 7th.
