Another Corrupt La. Politician

Well, well, well...what do you know, another corrupt Louisiana politician. Congressman William Jefferson has been "caught on video" accepting a $100,000 bribe. Now his defense is, "There are two sides to every story." Let me make his case for him. If you rewind the video from its end to the beginning you will see Congressman Jefferson returns the briefcase to the person who is trying to bribe him. So it all depends on how you play the video, forward or backward. The man is as corrupt as they come. This is the same congressman who had the National Guard escort him to his residence in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina and it caused a loss of time and manpower in trying to rescue storm victims. The man thought since he was a congressman he deserved a full military escort so that he could get "personal belongings" out of his home before it flooded. I wonder if some of the personal belongings were $100,000 in bribe money? The worst part of this is the Department of Justice subpoenaed documents from his office one year ago and he never turned them over to the F.B.I. Do you honestly believe if the F.B.I. issued a subpoena to you or me we could delay the investigation one year? So this week the Justice Department raids his office and takes the subpoenaed evidence. Now all of Congress is in an uproar. They believe they are above the law and their congressional offices can't be broken into by the F.B.I. I have one question, if your office was broken into by the F.B.I. could you claim "special privileges" and lock them out? Highly unlikely. I suggest the F.B.I., A.T.F. and Border Patrol raid every congressional office and gather up all the bribe money, every illegal alien working in the building, and gather all the drugs and alcohol (vast majority will be found in Ted Kennedy's office). All they need to raid our homes is probable cause and a search warrant. We have enough incriminating evidence that our elected officials are doing drugs, only a person high on crack would vote for most of the stuff they pass. I am sick and tired and I'm not taking it anymore. No one is above the law, NO ONE!
