As most of you know I have two boys. Hayden the oldest and Parker. What a responsibility God has given me. Children are such a blessing. With that blessing comes the responsibility of raising them correctly. I want to be their "Daddy" not just their father. I want to set a godly example that they will follow. I want to demonstrate to them how they are to treat their future wives, friends, and neighbors. I am reminded more and more how they watch and imitate what I do. 1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 Whew! I am starting to sweat just from the pressure. How will their dad respond when he is stuck in traffic? How will their dad react when a car pulls right in front of him? What will dad say when someone is obnoxious or rude? Will my boys not only hear me talk about Jesus but see the love of Christ in my attitude and actions? I am constantly reminding myself of the biblical admonition in Proverbs 22:Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
