When we see the "Men at Work" signs along the highway it reminds us to slow down and be mindful that there are men working on and near the road. Often times God is doing some amazing things in our homes, workplaces and community but we don't slow down long enough on the highway of life to recognize God at work. I want to take the time to tell you about what the Lord is doing at First Baptist Oil City. One of our deacons had the opportunity last night to talk to a young girl about the Roman Road of Salvation. Today that young girl came to church and shared with me that she invited Jesus Christ to be the Lord of her life and wanted to be baptized. We rejoice with her and her family about what God is doing in her life. Another lady came forward at the invitation and wants to move her letter to our church. Those two decisions make it 20 people that have joined our church in the last 18 weeks. God is at Work!!! He is changing people's hearts, He is moving people to join, He is revealing Himself and He is moving in our church and community!!! We celebrate and give Him all the glory. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!
