Did you hear about the guy who traded a paper clip for a house? Yep, you read that correct...he traded a regular office paper clip for one year rent free in a house. He is now talking about trading the rent free house for something else. He got the idea from a game that kids play called "Bigger and Better". The objective of the game is to trade something that you have for something that is bigger and better. He actually had to go through a series of exchanges before he got the house. But to go from trading a paper clip for one year rent free in a house...What a deal!!! What if I told you of an even better deal that is available to you today? You and I deserve death for our sins. Romans 6:23 says, The wages of sin is death. The rest of that verse says, The free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. So you can trade your punishment for sin for eternal life in Heaven. Talk about "bigger and better". A paper clip for a house pales in comparison.
